On our first visit, we meet you and your family and become familiar with your home. What kind of time demands do you have and how much home “work” do you wish to do yourself? What are your plans and future needs and how long do you anticipate living in your home? On this visit, we will evaluate the critical components of your home and identify key items such as shut-offs for your plumbing and electrical in case of emergencies. At the end of our visit, our HomeCare expert will leave a checklist of any items that might require repair or maintenance immediately or those anticipated within the next six months to a year. This checklist goes into your HomeCare Manual we leave with you, and into a file with your name and profile in our HomeCare priority database at the Brownlow & Sons office. You are under no obligation to do the repairs or maintenance items we recommend, however, you might wish to add these into your plans and home budget when you can. We have found that preventative maintenance over time, saves both time and money for our customers, and more importantly allows your home to retain its true value. |
